In James Van Allen, we honor a physicist who has opened the universe of outer space beyond this terrestrial earth we occupy. Based on his research and discoveries, future generations will add building blocks of knowledge about the cosmos. His name will exist into the dim future as discoverer of the Van Allen Radiation Belts.
